For starts, we are a married couple team! We Design and Construct our landscapes! Both of us come from a family line of Landscapers and Gardeners that date back to our grandparents, however, we never realized the impact and influence the trade had on us until we grew older. Where did the love really begin? Well, after being married we started to travel a lot! And the more places we went the more we noticed something special about all of our favorite places; it wasn't just about the buildings, the food, and the culture. It was the landscaping! Imagine your favorite vacation spot yet there were no plants, trees, water, rocks, sand, or fragrance! Yes, its something about the beautiful flowers and fragrance, the shade of a tree, dimmed lighting, and the sound of water that makes a place especially memorable. Experiencing how all of these elements come together and bring ultimate relaxation made us realize that our home landscaping could do the same! Now we work hard and take pride in beautifying the earth one house at a time!
How do we tackle this monumental task? Well we realized very quickly when we purchased our first home that we needed a plan. We've done it many times ourselves… where we plant something then oops realize we didn't want it there after all! Or just trying to figure out what we wanted and where we wanted it! Our indecisiveness lead to wasted time and money. Fortunately for us, just some wasted plants, but we’ve seen others make pricier mistakes like having sprinklers installed and then realizing after you want to add more concrete and end up having to install a whole new system! This is where having a plan is vital. What we love most about it is since its a detailed 3D visual plan it has allowed us to do most of the work ourselves and in stages. Since we knew that eventually we were going to add more concrete per the plan, we avoided planting in those areas and installed our irrigation appropriately. Also we knew we eventually wanted to build garden boxes so we installed extra irrigation for the future so those plants could be watered. We have seen firsthand how much having a plan has helped us save time and money so we are confident it will do the same for you!
